Standing at the foothills of Exmoor National Park and overlooking the historic Minehead harbour, Harbour cottage provides the perfect getaway in beautiful West Somerset.
Built over 300 years ago and still retaining many of its original features, Harbour cottage combines historic charm with modern comfort to ensure an unforgettable stay.
The cottage is built over three floors. The ground floor comprises a comfortable living room with an inglenook fireplace and adjoining fully equipped kitchen. The upper two levels host three double bedrooms (one ensuite) each with a harbour view and a large bathroom with shower, bath and WC as well as laundry facilities.
There is a paved forecourt in front of the property with outside seating and parking space for one car. A harbour permit is provided if parking for a second car is required.

The seaside town of Minehead is situated at the beginning of the popular South West Coastal Path and at the edge of the spectacular scenery of Exmoor National Park with numerous opportunities for walking, nature spotting and sightseeing.
Minehead itself has a long sandy beach, with swimming areas and opportunities for watersports. The cottage is situated at the quieter end of the seafront within walking distance of the town centre which has a good selection of shops, cafes and traditional pubs. The RNLI working lifeboat station, the traditional Old Ship Aground Pub and walking trails up to the North Hill are all situated nearby.
The famous West Somerset Railway, the longest heritage railway line in the country, runs from Minehead station which is situated within easy distance of the cottage – just a short walk along the seafront. Butlins holiday park is also situated at the other end of the promenade with numerous family attractions and amusements, available to visit with a day ticket.
Medieval Dunster village and Castle, Porlock Weir and Watchet harbour are only a short drive away. Other popular local attractions include Cleeve Abbey, Tropiquaria animal park, Exmoor Owl and Hawk Centre, Wildlife Safaris, Exmoor Zoo and many more.
